Recently there has been much disappointment in the Ampleforth team’s communication to holders. I wonder if we could encourage the team to add some communication here.
I feel this would help cement the symbiotic relationship we have with the team, and it might increase the visibility of the DAO and bring more holders to this space. The more input the better.
I was thinking maybe a space where they update once a week. I know they have the main site, but I think more synergy here would be positive. Possibly a blog for an informal slant.
Zero. Just a little time from the team. And a little time to set up a dedicated area on this forum.
This could be implemented straightaway, it would be down to the core team’s interest in the idea.
Yes please, transparency is always best, more the better.
I was unhappy with the Kucoin stuff but im still a liquidity provider…the DAO could perhaps take care of such a decision in the future.
[The team communicating on here] might increase the visibility of the DAO and bring more holders to this space.
This is particularly true. If the core team produced communication that was exclusive to the DAO every so often, there would definitely be an increase in visitors coming here to read what they have to say. This would inevitably lead to more sign ups and more people reading the weekly news letter emails which would be a massive boon to educating the uninformed.
I know they have the main site, but I think more synergy here would be positive.
A good point that reminds me of something I mentioned a few days ago to Brandon in the Discord AMA where I basically said that the following Tweet that went out -https://twitter.com/AmplTalk/status/1313853361633071106?s=20 was just providing an opportunity for trolls and the misinformed to reply with baseless negative drivel. If you were to have the core team post a question like “What is $AMPL in your own words?” onto here and tweet it out, it’ll be positive synergy overload. (People will be less likely to troll if they have to sign up to do it.)
Davoice321, you ask what they should update on. Please see above. Open ended questions that just gets the community talking and creative juices flowing would suffice! I feel like there needs to be an element of humanism added to Ampleforth. Entice the curious minds here with tweets by the core team who have the most followers, once here, the enticed will have their fill of informative members and articles ready to sate their curiosity!
@jmcadg: This is a great suggestion. The DAO and the Ampleforth core development team are in active communication and we can ask them if they’d like to use this space to provide some updates.
However, the question is what they should update on? Is there specific information re: their ecosystem development activities you’d be interested in learning about, for example?
